DJ 101 is a course where it is designed for those who has never used the turntables/DJ equipment before and wants to learn the fundamentals of mixing/blending. Dj is a part of the Hip Hop and dance culture, where mixing music is an art for those who understand and follow the Hip Hop genre. The clinic will be conducted by Malaysia No 1 dj - DJ FUZZ. DJ FUZZ has been one of Asia's best DJ by winning countless Malaysian title and compete in the worlds best at the World Vestax Competition.
the aim for the clinic is to educate the youth and music lovers about one of the fundamental of Hip Hop and dance genre.
At the end of the course, students will be able to perform seamless mixes on the turntables, CDJs and midi controllers like a club DJ.
Classes will incorporate the use on Rane Serato Scratch Live on turntables, CDJs as well as midi controllers.
the clinic will consists of 5 main topics covered during the seminar.
All classes will be conducted in Bahasa Melayu
1) introduction to DJing and basic equipment
2) Beat mixing on cdjs
2) Beat mixing on cdjs
3) pitch, tempo and bar counting
4)Mixing tricks
5)introduction to scratching
